POI Organizer für Mac

I'm really impressed by the ability of this little program, especially with the tight integration with Address Book. However there is a little problem with Google Maps Integration. In fact, if you import some data from Address Book, and the application cannot geoencode it, then I have the following issue: I click on the added item, coordinates are 0.000 0.000, and it brings me in the middle of the sea. If I try to zoom out (to see also some land), the map doesn't react, and I can't, this way, insert manually the location. It would be nice to have it fixed.

POI Organiser is a very nice tool. Thanks for the good work. However, I recently moved to TOMTOM 940 live and would appreciate to be able to : - export geocoded POIs in TOMTOM format. - keep the phone number associated with the POI Thanks Serge

The program delivers on it's promises. You can easily add POI's (points of interest) to your Garmin GPS either by adding them manually, copying from the Address Book or importing them from .csv files. It is very easy organize your POI's into collections by dragging and dropping like iPhoto or iTunes. The Google maps integration lets you visualize where the POI is when away from your GPS. You can even manage proximity alerts for your POI's. I did this for my Dunkin' Donuts list, so when I'm near a DD my Garmin Nuvi let's me know. I've had a lot of fun setting up POI's for the Nuvi and I think I now have over 17,000 entered. When your ready to update the GPS, the program integrates easily with Garmin's POI Loader application. It would be great to import GPX format files, but this is no deal breaker. If you have a Garmin and Mac I highly recommend this program.
